Forschungs­schwer­punkte: Main focus of the Korbel group is to decipher through analysis of complex data sets how genetic variation (sometime in conjunction with epige­netic variation) mediates human diseases including cancer, and to gain insights into disease mecha­nisms by integration of molecular biology experi­ments and compu­ta­tional biology.
