Forschungsschwerpunkte: Main focus of the Korbel group is to decipher through analysis of complex data sets how genetic variation (sometime in conjunction with epigenetic variation) mediates human diseases including cancer, and to gain insights into disease mechanisms by integration of molecular biology experiments and computational biology.
