The Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (MPI-CBS) in Leipzig, Germany, is offering 2 positions for


fMRI Data Analysts


This is your profile:

  1. You hold a Master’s degree or preferably a PhD in computational (neuro-)science, bio(medical) engineering, bioinformatics, biophysics, biostatistics, computational biology / psychology / psychiatry or a related field. 

  2. You are interested in rapidly learning how to analyze neuroimaging data or preferably already have the relevant experience. 

  3. You are familiar with statistical analyses. Familiarity with deep learning and/or Bayesian modeling are a plus. 

  4. You have advanced Python and/or Matlab coding skills. 


These are your main responsibilities: 

  1. You will develop innovative methods for preprocessing, visualization and statistical analysis of fMRI data.

  2. You will train graduate students to implement cutting-edge data analysis approaches.
